The Presbyterian Community Nursery School has been in existence since 1956. The purpose of our preschool program is to help children grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually, with teachers and parents working together. We as a school encourage children to ask questions, share ideas, develop social skills, and explore their world through their play. Our goals are to encourage friendships, build self-esteem, and develop a love of learning.

The Presbyterian Community Nursery School provides young children a safe, supportive, caring, and enriching educational environment. Our philosophy is based upon a "developmentally-appropriate" program responsive to the needs of individual children, while also responding to the needs of families. Our goal is to foster the joy of learning in young children.

Our staff is comprised of highly experienced members of the NAEYC (National Association of the Education of Young Children) and many are state-certified. The teachers offer a wide variety of educational backgrounds and participate in on-going professional development. All our staff is CPR certified, AED trained, and Epi-Pen trained.
