Garden City Basketball – St John’s Excitement
The children of Garden City Basketball had the
pleasure of very special event at Alumni Hall / Carneseca Arena located at
St John’s University. The
girls had courtside seats with St John’s playing Cincinnati.
The smiles on the faces of the children were priceless as they
enjoyed the entire game and played on the big court during half-time.
The girls were right on top of the action of a great game with St
John’s rallying to a 72-66 comeback.
A big thank you from Garden City Basketball to the
parents that established this fun filled event!
With the overwhelming success of and praise received
from this type of activity, next season we will work to add playing at
more men’s and women’s games at St John’s.
