Zemo Men’s Store located in Stamford, Connecticut for over 60 years, has the distinction of being one of the few remaining family owned and operated businesses. 

The 1950’s were the heyday for men’s stores with more than 40 such establishments opening in that period. Established in 1952, Zemo Men’s Store has the distinction of being one of the few remaining stores due to our long standing tradition of offering personalized service and quality merchandise. John’s son, Joseph is now the owner of the business and continues to carry on the tradition of quality and service to its customers. When Joseph returned to manage the store he brought with him a wealth of experience gleaned from working at other retail businesses that feature formal wear. This background has contributed significantly to the management decisions that make Zemo Men’s Store unique. We are the only formal merchant to offer exclusive retail formal wear for rental which includes 100% all cotton real French cuff formal shirts in all of our rental packages. The selection for the groom, members of the wedding party and the men of the family includes the finest suiting and formal wear by Hickey Freeman, Burbury and Aquascutum to name a few. Additionally, Zemo Men’s Store takes great pride and special care in providing customers with one of a kind rental and suits for their special occasion.
