CHRISTMAS TURKEY GIVEAWAY
 

On Wednesday, December 23, 2009, Herbert's Fine Meats of Hempstead gave away five seasoned Christmas turkeys at their store located at 79 Main Street.  Shoppers who filled out an entry form with a valid e-mail address were sent e-mails with coupons good for a free prize from Herbert’s.  Check out our meat plans and specials at our new website – www.herbertsmeat.com.    

Owners, Ron and Anne Marie Rossiello posed for a picture with Betty Miller of Hempstead.  Betty said that you can’t beat Herbert’s for the chitterlings – they taste so good with greens and potato salad.  Betty, who remembers Herbert’s from the old days, helped pick the remaining four winners who were contacted by phone.  Rocia Barrientos who works in the neighborhood, couldn’t believe that she won again after winning a delicious turkey from Herbert’s last month during their Thanksgiving giveaway!   Delores Wyche, Rosa Scay and Tommy Hunter were the other three winners.   Delores said she’s been shopping at Herbert’s for years and you can’t beat their quality, especially the wings!
