Parental Consent and Liability Waiver

I desire for my (self/son/daughter) to participate in one of Garden City Basketball’s basketball leagues and/or basketball activities. I understand that basketball involves physical contact between players and I assume all risks associated with (my/his/her) participation. (I/My child) (have/has) no known medical conditions which prohibit participation in this sport. I agree to hold harmless and release Garden City Basketball and their agents and sponsors from legal liability resulting from any injuries sustained during participation in these activities. I understand Garden City Basketball cannot be responsible for loss or damage to (my/my child's) personal possessions.  Participation is subject to the rules and regulations of Garden City Basketball and any other organization (such as AAU and the Junior NBA) which this program is a member/affiliated with.  Participation may be revoked with or without cause by the Board of Garden City Basketball.

Choose the Right Program ! Garden City Basketball

The focus of Garden City Basketball is our intramural program.  This is Garden City Basketball’s eighth season and our mission remains the same - to provide a wonderful experience for all of our participants so that a love of the life long game of basketball will be nurtured and grow.  We have raised the bar and have injected activity, effort, and excitement for the sport of youth basketball in our village.

Our goal is simply to have a great program that is our version of fun for children.  No tension and no pressure.

Skill development is important and Garden City Basketball offers the best basketball instruction that you can find for your child.  Our Saturday clinic for Kindergarten, 1^st and 2^nd Graders is highly regarded by professionals and we are proud to announce is a model for other youth programs around the country.  The focus at our clinics is on skills, drills, development, and fun. Our K-1-2 clinic typically supplies almost thirty hours of instruction! We believe that Garden City Basketball is second to none in the quality and amount of training we fairly allocate to our participants.  For our clinics, we utilize AAU/Island Garden Instructors, as well as the Garden City High School, Christ the King, and Chaminade players. 

The Village allocates space based upon enrollment, so registering up now makes sure you are counted and assumes that our program receives its fair share of valuable village resources. 

It goes without saying, volunteers are always needed.  If you would like to help in any way…please let us know and we’ll get you into the mix.  Everyone appreciates the coaches but it is the parents that help setup, bring the coffee, take down the banners and provide assistance to participants that Garden City Basketball a great program.

Garden City Basketball is a proud member of the JrNBA/JrWNBA and Amateur Athletic Union.

We believe that Garden City Basketball has the vision, volunteers and dedicated coaches, and sets the highest standard for youth basketball in the village of Garden City .
