The primary goal of  St. Joe’s CYO is to provide an opportunity for boys and girls of the parish in grades 4 through 12 to play basketball in an environment that is conducive to all levels of proficiency.   One of the key tenets of the program was to allow any boy or girl in the parish and of every skill level the opportunity to play basketball in a supportive and enthusiastic environment.  In this day of travel basketball, AAU, and competitive school teams, the St. Joe’s CYO program allows every parish boy or girl the opportunity to play right through high school.

The high level of participation at both the Tyro and Senior levels is a testament to the goals of the program as it provides boys and girls at the high school level a healthy and fun activity.  The program and its philosophy is reflective of the dedication of  men and women of the parish who have been involved with CYO over the years as coaches and coordinators.  We encourage all parishioners to become involved in the program.  Please feel free to contact any of the members of the CYO Committee for further information.
