For optimal viewing, set your monitor's resolution for 640x480 or 800x600, and its color display at HIGH COLOR-16 bit (Windows) or THOUSANDS (Mac), or higher. |
To
adjust the monitor resolution and color setting with the Windows operating system: Click the START button on the Windows task bar. From the SETTINGS selection, click on CONTROL PANEL. Double-click the DISPLAY icon. In the DISPLAY PROPERTIES dialog box choose the SETTINGS panel. Set the DESKTOP AREA slider to 640 by 480 PIXELS or 800 by 600 PIXELS. From the COLOR PALETTE drop-down list, select HIGH COLOR (16 bit), TRUE COLOR (24 bit) or TRUE COLOR (32 bit). 16 and 256 COLOR settings will not display all colors properly. |
To
adjust your monitor with the Macintosh Operating System: Pull down the APPLE MENU. Select CONTROL PANELS. Select MONITORS & SOUNDS. In RESOLUTION, choose 640x480 or 800x600. In COLOR DEPTH, choose COLORS and THOUSANDS. |
