GROVE STREET PARK- Field 3 |
From the North Shore
|
| Long
Island Expressway to exit 39 S (Glen Cove Road). Proceed south past Old Country Road (Glen
Cove Road becomes Clinton Road) and Stewart Avenue (school on left). Cross over the
railroad tracks and turn left at the second light, Chestnut Street. Continue to the end of
Chestnut Street and turn right onto Grove Street. The park is 3 blocks down on the left. |
From Southeastern
Nassau and Suffolk |
| Southern
State Parkway, west, to Meadowbrook Parkway, north. Exit at M1, Old Country Road, west. At
Glen Cove Road (Old Country Diner is on right), turn left. (Glen Cove Road becomes Clinton
Road). Proceed south past Stewart Avenue (school on left). Cross over the railroad
tracks and turn left at the second light, Chestnut Street. Continue to the end of Chestnut
Street and turn right onto Grove Street. The park is 3 blocks down on the left. |
From Southwestern
Nassau and Queens |
| Peninsula
Boulevard, north to Clinton Road (Amoco gas station is on the left). Turn left. Cross over
Hempstead Turnpike (CVS drugstore is on the left) and proceed north into Garden City. The
first light in Garden City is Meadow Street. Proceed to the next light and turn right onto
Chestnut Street. Continue to the end of Chestnut Street and turn right onto Grove Street.
The park is 3 blocks down on the left. |
